Brawl Stars: How the 4 Game Modes Work: Bounty, Heist, Smash and Grab and Showdown
In Brawl Stars, there are 4 game mechanics at the first launch, which include different techniques of victory and attack. We discover together, thanks to videos, how exactly the 4 Brawl Stars game modes work.
Let’s start by saying that everyone starts from a shared base: the player, alone or in the gang, will have to earn purple gems or defeat the combined enemies. We recommend you to activate the joystick on Brawl Stars before you start playing. It is mainly suggested that moving the character quickly is really difficult using single taps on the screen and this greatly reduces playability.
Choose a Brawler to use it carefully, as in these modes you will accumulate experience points to level up. You can find all Brawlers characters here.

4 Game Modes for Brawl Stars
Now let’s see how attack systems work, which are 4. Each of them will be available at 12 or 24-hour rotation and provides a maximum time to end.
Bounty
It’s a 3 vs. 3 challenge; the system combines 3 players against other 3 and creates two different gangs. The only goal is to defeat the enemies you face and get the most points.
Points are obtained by defeating opponents and each time you hit a character, a star will appear above your Brawler showing the number of kills. The more players you drop, the more stars you get: 7 stars is the maximum you can get.
Yet enemies, if they defeat you, will steal the stars you’ve accumulated. This means that being in the lead or in the standings in this challenge brings with it a few advantages as being out of play will give the precious stars to the enemies.
Smash and Grab
Perhaps the funniest: in the center of the arena there is a purple gem generator, the team that gets 10 gems, keeping them for at least 16 seconds, will be the winning one.
The accumulated gems appear in the bar at the top of the screen, but if a player is defeated he loses the gained gems. It’s important, in fact, not to hold too many gems to a single player or if you’re going to die you will see the countdown reset.
Not only if one of the two teams gets more gems than that rival, while the countdown has already begun, it will resume its head for the new team in the lead.
Showdown
Unlike the previous 2 in this mode each one plays on its own. The challenge includes 10 Brawlers in one arena, each player will have to get the power-ups that will earn 100 HP and + 7% in attack.
Above each character will appear a digit with the number of power-up that player has. The last Brawlers who will stand will be the winner of the challenge.
As the Brawlers are defeated, the arena will shrink, thus making the challenge more and more compelling.
Heist
The last mode is called Heist, and it’s a 3v3 game mode, too: each team will have to protect their safe or robbing enemies’. The team defending the safe will have 5500 HP. The offensive team will have to resort to the objects that will appear in the challenge in order to bring down the value of the hurt points of the safe.
If the defensive team can keep the Safe box closed, it wins the match! In any challenge you may find yourself either in a defensive or offensive challenge, not both.
